I’m tired of people believing it whenever a popstar tells a reporter that their biggest wish was to empower young girls. They’re either lying or have never opened their eyes to the real damage they’re doing.
Educate yourselves, America.
just acknowledge someone took the time to make this. not only did they have this weak internal argument with themselves where they pretended to care about young women, they were so proud of this pseudo-intellectual analysis of female pop stars they decided it was good enough to sit and make a fucking terrible graphic to represent it. the “educate yourself, America.” - i can almost see them getting off to the idea of this awful argument and how many notes they thought they’d get as they opened MS paint.
